Michael attends Croke Park to receive Art Award

Michael joined Cedar's Transitions service in November 2022. His Transition Officer, Heather, supported Michael in progression from school to college and he is settled well into his first year at South West College. He is currently completing the L1 Skills for Employment, Training, and Personal Development and has developed positive friendships.

Recently, Micheal entered a local art competition. The theme was 'My Community & Me' and Michael came first in the local Credit Union. He was then qualified for chapter level and took part in regional finals progressing onto the National Final. This was judged by independent artists on behalf of the Irish league of Credit Unions and Michael came runner up. The invitation to Croke Park for an honorary award ceremony is testament to for his tremendous talent.
