Johnston Way

Johnston Way is a Supported Living Service situated in North Lisburn. The Service operates under the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Framework and provides 24hr care and support.

The service comprises 2 dwellings that are each home for four adults (males only) who have Learning Disabilities and complex needs and who require care and support to increase personal independence and enhance their quality of life. At Johnston Way Supported Living Service, care and support are tailored to your individual needs and preference.

All referrals to Johnston Way are through the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. Applicants must also be registered with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s Common Selection Scheme and have an agreed individual care package that includes night support requirements.

The Mews

The Mews is a Supported Living Service consisting of 12 single occupancy apartments based in West Belfast. The service cares for and supports individuals with learning disabilities, Autism and/or complex needs.
Meadowvale Court

Cedar has worked in partnership with Triangle Housing Association to provide Supported Living services at Meadowvale Court, 195 Hillsborough Old Road Lisburn. This facility comprises 13 single occupancy apartments. SMART assistive technology is available in all of the accommodation to maintain and promote independence.
West Belfast

Cedar has worked in partnership with Choice Housing and Radius to provide supported living services within West Belfast Living Options. One of these services, ‘Mourneview Court’ is a new facility located at 151 Glen Road, Belfast. This facility comprises of 11 modern two bedroom apartments based on two tenants sharing. Assistive technology is available to promote independence and daily living.
Hillmount

Hillmount Close and Hillmount Court were designed to provide services for people who have high Supported Living needs and who wish to live independently with an enhanced quality of life. Current service users include people with physical disability, brain injury and both cognitive and sensory impairment.
Ardkeen

Ardkeen comprises 10 fully adapted, ensuite, 1 bedroom open plan apartments, spread over two floors. Each single occupancy home is designed to facilitate people who have high supported living needs such as those who have physical disability, brain injury or sensory impairment.

Our History

The Cedar Foundation was set up in 1941 as the Northern Ireland Council for Orthopaedic Development and, forover 75 years, we have grown from an organisation dedicated to a single condition to one that focuses on the needs of the individual, whatever their disability.
