Cedar's Inclusion Matters staff, Seline and Heather, recently attended Drink Wise, Age Well Health Fest in Omagh Library. This event was focused at people aged over 50. Over 40 exhibitors took part in the event with Guest Speaker and Image Consultant Billy Dixon. There was a range of free complimentary therapies including Chiropody, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, File & Polish, Head and Shoulder Massage and a barber who provided free haircuts.

During the event Seline and Heather presented information about the InclUSion Matters service which is aimed especially towards those who experience isolation. The service encourages people to build new social networks within their local communities. InclUSion Matters works by encouraging peer support and enabling user-led networking to help participants become involved in social, leisure and recreational opportunities within their local area.

The InclUSion Matters service operates within the South Eastern, Northern and Belfast Health & Social Care Trusts.
