Alongside the continuing events for ABI week we were delighted to be invited to the official opening of the newly designed carers area at the Regional Acquired Brain Injury Unit (RABIU), Musgrave Park Hospital. Elaine Armstrong, Cedar’s Director of Employability and Community Inclusion, said:

The theme of collaboration was reflected in the range of speakers from statutory & voluntary services. Short presentations were delivered by colleagues from Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, staff from RABIU, former RABIU patients and carers, and service providers from across the community and voluntary sector.

We would like to thank the team for the warm welcome that included refreshments and a tour of the new area. We are sure the space will prove a welcome addition for carers.
