Cedar’s Sharon Butler (Director of Living Options) and Louise Campbell (Registered Manager & Head of Service) recently delivered a roundtable session to highlight the developmental journey of The Mews Supported Living Service. The presentation focused on measuring success and building resilience offering an opportunity for staff to share their views and opinions.

The Mews is a supported living service consisting of twelve single occupancy apartments. The service cares and supports individuals with behaviours that challenge and learning disability and is staffed twenty-four hours per day. In keeping with Cedar values of Collaboration, Equality, Dignity, Achievement and Resilience it was imperative for management to receive feedback from staff and reinforce the message that Cedar values are adopted across the organisation for all.

Staff were assured that they are fully supported through the values and Cedar’s internal systems on a daily basis. The session concluded by all present sharing what they thought future success would look like for them and the information was collated and recorded to help staff and service users realise the positive achievements being made within The Mews.
