A Life Rewritten: In House Skills Training During ABI Week we have been reflecting on the services delivered throughout Cedar. Group members from Inclusion Works and ABI Choices in the Belfast & Southeastern area recently came together to consider all that they have learned while on service. They used the skills they have developed through in-house training to create this stunning artwork which depicts their journey and their Life Rewritten. Staff within the Cedar Inclusion Works and ABI Choices services provide specialist in-house skills training, which supports people to understand the impact of brain injury and learn compensatory strategies in the safety of a group setting to test and learn how to cope with the challenges of life after brain injury. Modules covered include Introduction to brain injury Attention and Concentration Memory Stress Fatigue Planning and organising Inclusion Works staff can also provide Working with Others after Brain Injury, which is designed to support people returning to work.
