I am the Resourcing Co-ordinator & as I administer the recruitment process I have plenty of contact with candidates along the recruitment journey and I'm often the first point of contact with new employees as they start life in the Cedar family.

I have worked for Cedar for just over 8 years and have held a few different posts within the organisation during my time.  Working within The HR department has given me an amazing insight into Cedar as a whole and I have really enjoyed working in my new role this past year.

I am the HR Administrator and I wanted to share why I chose HR as my career.

HR is a career opportunity that bridges the gap between business and people, working with, and participating in an employee’s journey throughout their time in the organisation.

Having an educational background in Communication with Counselling and an interest in the operational side of the business, for example employee rights, employee relations, and absence management, all areas I am particularly interested in, I believe a career in HR was inevitable for me.

I am the newest member of the team, and I have now worked at home for as long as I had worked in the office.  From my first day at Cedar my new colleagues made me feel so comfortable and welcomed me into the Cedar Family and I feel like I fit in perfectly like the last piece of the HR Jigsaw. I am also the name you see at the end of your offer letter when you are successful after an interview. I am the person who follows up on your pre-employment checks to ensure everything comes back in a timely manner and have you commenced in the post as soon and as quickly as possible.
