Our services Work and Training SkillSET SkillSET is a new innovative programme of specialist employment preparation and training, for people with a disability / health condition who are economically inactive. Cedar is delivering the service across NI as part of a partnership of seven disability organisations, SkillSET Cedar aims to enhance the life chances of economically inactive disabled people by delivering specialised pre-employment training, on the job mentoring and the creation of sustainable employment opportunities via: · Accredited and non-accredited training (vocational, employability, personal development · Basic skills and numeracy development · Academy based training models · Employment preparation including work experience , CV preparation, interview prep and 1:1 peer mentoring · Employer engagement and the establishment of employer led academies and the delivery of disability awareness training · Supporting disabled people leaving Higher/Further (particularly those with ASD) to secure employment.
