The event took place at Crowne Plaza, Belfast with over 90 people from across our User Forum, Executive Committee and staff teams invited. Categories for the awards included; Excellence in Collaboration, Valuing People, Bright Ideas and Volunteering and Community Service.

CEO Elaine Armstrong said:

“This event marks a significant milestone in showcasing talent and achieving results here at Cedar. It has been empowering to hear first-hand how our staff, user forum and volunteers individually and collectively have made a significant difference.

Cedar values of Collaboration, Equality, Dignity, Achievement and Resilience have underpinned all the nominations and it is encouraging to note the significant professionalism and the character of our nominees was an emerging theme across all categories, a testimony of the commitment and dedication of our staff, user forum and volunteers alike.”

Chairperson, Professor Maurice Mulvenna added:

“We received a total of 31 nominations across four categories and it was an honour to publicly acknowledge the loyalty, commitment, and dedication of staff over all these years. Such loyalty and dedication are something special alongside the corporate and sectoral knowledge of staff which is irreplaceable and adds to the unique culture of Cedar.”

We would like to extend a huge thank-you to everyone involved in the decision-making process, as well as speakers and guests for making the event a success. Gratitude also extends to the brilliant staff at Crowne Plaza Belfast for supporting us with the event.
