Peter has been supported by Lorraine with the Floating Support service. Here he describes his experience:

"I would like to say thank you to the Cedar Foundation, especially to my support worker Lorraine who has helped me tirelessly over the past year and a half. The service has been so important to me in trying to put my life back together when dealing with chronic pain and other health problems."

He continued:

"Having a disability can make a person feel totally alone and helpless at times. That is why it is important that there are services like Cedar, so that those who have a disability know that there are people who see their struggles and care enough to help them improve their situation. It’s important to be reminded that there are things in life which can be improved."

Peter adds:

"Even if we cannot overcome all of our challenges, we can overcome some of them. Even if we can’t do everything, there are some things we can do well. Working with my support worker has helped me so much in developing some independence. The service has been great and I am so thankful for it."
