Latest News Inclusion Works Southern team networks at local events Staff from our Southern area Inclusion Works service recently took part in two local events to raise awareness of the support they offer to young adults with a learning disability to access work and training opportunities. Armagh Food Bank held a networking event which hosted a number of local community groups such as Parenting NI, Policing and Communities Safety Partnerships and Armagh Rural Transport. Groups gave presentations about their services and then opened up the event to the public. There was a great turnout on the day and some great opportunities to make connections and partnerships to ensure all our service users receive the best advice and signposting opportunities. Inclusion Works Case Officers Roisin and Danielle also gave a presentation at the Southern Regional College Banbridge campus, where they updated students and teachers about the support available to participants in training, community inclusion and work experience / job search support. Each student received an information pack to take home with all the services contact details should the students or parents wish to ask any further questions of the team. Some more information on the Inclusion Works service in the Southern area for adults with a learning disability (18-30yrs) is available here and the staff team are happy to provide free information sessions to any groups who would like more information. If you or someone you know could benefit from more information please get in touch at our Armagh office on 028 3752 6221. This project is part funded through the Northern Ireland European Social Fund Programme 2014 – 2020 and the Department for the Economy. Funding is also provided by the Department for Communities and all five local HSCTs in Northern Ireland.
