Charity merger will enhance services supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives

The Cedar Foundation and Croft Communities, have merged to enhance the work of both organisations in empowering adults with disabilities through the provision of excellent housing, care and support. On 1^st March we completed the merger which has been the outworking of an ongoing partnership to share resources and expertise to ensure we continue to provide the best possible support to all using our services. Cedar is a Northern Ireland wide charity supporting children and adults with a range of disabilities, autism and brain injury to live, learn, work and engage in their local communities.

Croft Communities, based in Bangor, provides supported living, residential and short breaks for adults with learning disabilities. The merger will ensure both organisations are in a strong position to consolidate and grow, by combining the resources and strengths of both organisations.

The Cedar Foundation delivers a range of services that supports people with disabilities. Croft Communities provide a wide range of services across North Down, including Supported Living, Residential Care, Respite and Day Services. Their mission is to empower adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives within the local community.
