Cedar’s Youth Matters discover the Vibrancy of Chinese New Year Youth Matters in the Western area recently took part in a very vibrant social activity in Strabane. To tie in with the Chinese New Year the group participated in a Lion Dance workshop. This involved learning about Chinese culture and the celebrations around the New Year. The day was enjoyed by all and certainly brought learning to life through colour, costume and music. What is Youth Matters? The Youth Matters services offers access to a wide variety of group activities and personal development programmes for children and young people with disabilities, autism and brain injury up to the age of 18. What support is provided? The objective of the Youth Matters Service is to support young people to have opportunities to engage in weekly personal development and social activities to develop their resilience, confidence, self-esteem and build new friendships through engagement.
