Today Cedar volunteers were invited to Ravenhill Reach for a celebration event. The event takes place during Volunteers Week and offered a great way to underline the important contribution volunteers make all year round. 

Image shows volunteers gathered at celebratory event.Martin Howell MBE, Member of Cedar's Executive Committee, presented certificates to the volunteers highlighting the support they provide to people with disabilities, autism and brain injury. Keeping with this year's theme 'Celebrating Together' guests shared a delicious afternoon tea.

Volunteer Co-Ordinator Marion said:

“I am delighted to be able to recognise the valuable contribution of our volunteers in supporting Cedar staff and service users. It’s great that so many volunteers were able to attend today and my thanks go out to all our volunteers for the work they do – they really do make a difference.”
