Go Active & On Yer Bike

Cedar’s Go Active project aims to enhance the health and well-being of people with disabilities across Belfast.  The project will achieve this by increasing opportunities for participation and engagement by people with disabilities in regular programmes of walking and accessible cycling. 


Various locations across the Greater Belfast area


Time commitment is flexible and ideally Volunteer Support Workers should be available 2- 3 hours per week on a regular basis to assist with planned activities.

Skills Required:

Essential skills are patience, empathy, reliability and a genuine commitment to working as part of team to help others.

Additional Information:

Volunteers will benefit from Community Walk Leader Training and/or Ride Leader Award Training, joining a friendly team of people and helping the Cedar achieve its objectives.
