Congratulations to our Achievers

Congratulations to all of the young people who received certificates at Cedar's Celebrating Achievement event. These certificates, presented by Health Minister Edwin Poots, recognised achievement in OCN accredited training through Cedar's Transitions Service. Qualifications achieved included First Aid, Participation in Sport, Independent Skills and Food, Drink & Cookery.

At the event Mr Poots said "I congratulate you all, it is clear to me that The Cedar Foundation does exactly what it says on the tin."

Cedar’s Transitions Service is an early intervention service that enables young people to make appropriate choices when moving on from school to Further or Higher Education, training or employment ensuring they achieve their maximum potential.  The service not only supports the young person but also provides accurate information to parents and the key professionals who are involved to ensure a smooth transition.
