Some of The Cedar Foundation trainees in the Armagh area have been taking part in Fit 4 U Archery sessions. On completion of the sessions, teams made up of participants from Armagh, Newry, Dungannon, Banbridge and Craigavon held a tournament amongst themselves organised by Fit 4 U and Craigavon Borough Council.

The tournament was held in Banbridge Leisure Centre and involved team and individual events. Brian McKevitt, John McCool and Cal Morgan, who are all trainees from Cedar’s Brain Injury Services were three of the five members on the winning Armagh team. Furthermore, Cal Morgan came first in the individual competition.

Cal who is pictured kneeling said, “I really liked the Fit 4 U activities and archery was my favourite. I really enjoyed the archery most of all, especially as we won the competition and I won the prize for the best individual. I also take part in most of the other activities in Armagh and I feel that these are really good for my fitness.”
