Ballymena Open Morning
Monday 27 June 2011
To raise awareness of our services for people with Physical Disabilities and Brain Injury –Cedar hosted an Open Morning at our Ballymena Training & Resource Centre at Woodside Road. The Cedar staff team were on hand to showcase their facilities and visitors had the opportunity to explore Cedar’s extensive range of ‘state of the art’ adaptive technology and become familiar with Cedar’s innovative programmes.
The services, run from the Ballymena Training & Resource Centre, are available to people living throughout the Northern Health & Social Care Trust area and are delivered in partnership with the local Health and Social Services staff teams, employers, training organisations and colleges.
Individuals are supported to design their programmes around their own needs and aspirations, this helps each individual to build up a programme at their own pace, as their confidence grows, and ensures that Cedar can respond to individual issues and concerns.
