The Cedar Foundation as part of the ACET/NOW Partnership is delivering the Workable (NI) And NDDP programmes funded by the Department for Employment and Learning

We are currently recruiting for the following post:

Outline:

Maximising employment opportunities for people with disabilities

Salary:

3 point incremental scale commencing on £20,198 per annum

Location:

The Cedar Foundation Balmoral Training & Resource Centre, 1 Upper Lisburn Road, Belfast, BT10 0GW

Hours Per Week:

37 hours per week

Essential Criteria:

Degree/NVQ Level IV or relevant professional qualification plus 1 year’s experience of placing people in employment or work experience.

NVQ Level III plus 3 years experience as above
And
Good organisational and communication skills.
And
Display evidence of an awareness of the values and attitudes required to work with people with disabilities
And
Full current driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes (consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence)

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in working with people with disabilities
Experience in delivering training
Diploma / Foundation Diploma in Supported Employment.
