Volunteer

Without volunteers it would be impossible for us to continue providing our services for children and adults across Northern Ireland. The Cedar Foundation has a variety of volunteering roles, which can be tailored to your own skills and requirements.

Volunteer Administrators

We need Fundraising Volunteers to provide support to The Cedar Foundation's Marketing & Appeals Department, assisting with various administration and fundraising tasks at our Head Office in Belfast. Volunteers are trained and supported in all aspects of fundraising by members of the Fundraising Department. Hours of work are flexible to suit (between 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri).

Volunteer Collectors

We always need volunteers to help us with collections across Northern Ireland at places like local supermarkets and shopping centres, and on our flag days.

Volunteer Community Events Fundraisers

You could help The Cedar Foundation raise vital funds by organising a local event on our behalf. You could do anything from planning a coffee morning to organising a treasure hunt. We will help you by providing the fundraising materials you need. We are also keen to hear from anyone interested in forming a volunteer events committee in your local area. Organising community events are a great way to make new friends and develop skills in different areas.

Help out behind the scenes at one of our exciting fundraising events this year. See the events page for a list of all of the events on our calendar and let us know if can help with some much needed support.

For all of our volunteering roles The Cedar Foundation will reimburse travel expenses

Supporting Adult Learners

Providing basic learning support to disabled adults, one to one or in small groups, at our Training Centres or in the community. For details of these volunteering opportunities please email m.blair@cedar-foundation.org or ring Michael Blair on 028 9066 6188.
