The KARTEN CTEC Centres offer Computer Aided Training, Education and Communication for people with physical disability in the following areas:
- Assessment of individual adaptive technology and support needs.
Assessment of which adaptive equipment and software programmes best match an individual's needs and customised training in the use of such equipment and software. - Provision of computer based pre-vocational training
This training focuses on Essential Skills and Social and Lifeskills, using courses which are accredited through OCR National Skills Profile and Entry Level Programmes - Provision of IT resources and basic IT training for individuals
Fully accessible modern computer suite and one to one support for Trainees wishing to use technology for lifestyle issues or training assignments.
Basic one to one and small group IT training, leading to accredited qualifications.

People came from far and wide to take part in Cedar’s latest challenge; Fire N Ice which took place recently at the Pavilion Complex in Belfast.
On the 20th and 21st October eight partner organisations from across Europe met at Cedar’s Belfast Training and Resource Centre for the inaugural meeting of the EQUABENCH network.
The Cedar Foundation held its third User Forum Fashion Show to raise money to provide services for disabled people in Northern Ireland last Wednesday, hosted by BBC TV personality Sarah Travers.
The Cedar Foundation showcased its state of the art accommodation for disabled people today at the official launch of Ardkeen by Social Development Minister Margaret Ritchie and Health Minister Michael McGimpsey
