Payroll Giving
ntroducing payroll giving to your workplace can be good for your business - it helps build employee relations and clearly shows your commitment to helping your community.
The scheme is inexpensive to run and involves minimal staff time; it works in the same way as pension or union deductions. What's more, you get a deduction against your profits for your costs.
Three-step plan
- Register with an agency charity such as the Charities Aid Foundation which can process employee donations to The Cedar Foundation.
- Distribute The Cedar Foundation's payroll giving forms.
- Promote the scheme effectively - let employees know they can give to their chosen charities tax-free every pay day.
If you would like to support The Cedar Foundation through payroll giving contact The Cedar Foundation on 028 9066 6188 or e-mail l.swift@cedar-foundation.org.
