Trainees

The Employment Development Programme will provide you with the opportunity to:

Assess and match your abilities to an employer's needs
Train in preparation for work and job search
Participate in a work experience to suit your needs, including paid employment, work placements for training and voluntary work
Access one to one support, provided by a Job Support Worker, if required
Achieve accredited qualifications

Cedar Blazes a Trail

People came from far and wide to take part in Cedar’s latest challenge; Fire N Ice which took place recently at the Pavilion Complex in Belfast.

Equabench Preliminary Meeting

On the 20th and 21st October eight partner organisations from across Europe met at Cedar’s Belfast Training and Resource Centre for the inaugural meeting of the EQUABENCH network.

Fashion Flair On Show

The Cedar Foundation held its third User Forum Fashion Show to raise money to provide services for disabled people in Northern Ireland last Wednesday, hosted by BBC TV personality Sarah Travers.

Ardkeen officially opened by Local Government Ministers

Golf Competition, 7th June 2009

Golfers throughout Northern Ireland are invited to take part in The Cedar Foundation Team Golf Competition, which will be held at Galgorm Golf and Country Club, Ballymena on Sunday 7th June 2009

Adrenaline, Paintball Extravaganza

Our Paintball Extravaganza is not just a place where you can go and shoot your team-mates (though this is really one of the best bits!) - it's also a place where you can relax, have fun and kick back.

1000 Mile Challenge

Can you go the distance and help The Cedar Foundation cover 1000 miles in 2008 and help raise 10,000 pounds for disabled children and adults in Northern Ireland.

Overseas Challenges

Horse riding in Mongolia, Brazil or accross the Andes, Canoeing on the Zambezi River, Cycling in Cuba, China, South Africa or Sri Lanka, Camel Riding through the Sahara, or Trekking in many different and interesting places, the choice is yours.
