Youth Matters
The Youth Matters Service provides social activities and programmes for young people with disabilities up to 20 years old. Through our service we hope that:
- Young people will have more opportunities to become independent and confident to access services available to them
- Young people will have increased opportunity to access local mainstream provision.
- Parents and carers will have a short break
Regional Activity Programmes.
Providing opportunities young disabled people to have fun whilst also developing independence skills and increasing community participation
Personal Development Programmes
Personal development opportunities exploring the issues relevant to young disabled people.
Disability Awareness Training
A range of training options for schools, youth clubs, universities and leisure centers including accredited training
User Involvement
Providing opportunities for children, young disabled people and their parents to have their say in the services they receive.
