10 disabled children aged 7-13 from in and around L’Derry, have enjoyed a Halloween Adventure organised by The Cedar Foundation.
The group of youngsters, with a number in fancy dress, were excited to be taken on a guided tour of the fairy woods at the Playtrail on Racecourse Road. The kids were guided in the dark by a scarecrow and were told some scary stories on the way. Following the tour, the group spent an hour carving pumpkins that they could then take home and display in the run up to Halloween night.
13 year old Suzanna McClay said, “The tour of the woods was really scary but it was loads of fun. I enjoyed the pumpkin carving best of all!”
