Calling all Golfers

Team Golf CompetitionGolfers throughout Northern Ireland are invited to take part in The Cedar Foundation Team Golf Competition, which will be held at Galgorm Golf and Country Club, Ballymena on Friday 9th June 2006.

This competition is open to both golf societies and companies. To enter a team of four for the Competition a Golf Society or company must raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship, in return competitors will receive a free day’s golf and lunch. Prizes will be awarded to the first three teams, best front nine etc. and to the team raising the most sponsorship.

Mr Christopher Brook from Galgorm commented “this is an excellent way of raising much needed funds for The Cedar Foundation while at the same time having a great day out.”

Galgorm Golf ClubThe Cedar Foundation is a voluntary organisation working in partnership with people with physical disabilities throughout Northern Ireland to provide a range of services, from supported living projects promoting independent living and community based support services to training that enhances skill and opportunities in education, training and employment. The Cedar Foundation also provides information and practical support services to parents and young people with motor disabilities.
