Northern Ireland Best Practice Event

Northern Ireland Best Practice EventOn 20th May over 60 delegates from a range of public, community and voluntary sector organisations attended The Cedar Foundation’s Best Practice Event in Malone Lodge.

The event was held as part of the Northern Ireland Best Practice Scheme. The Scheme is sponsored by the Public Service Improvement Unit, in the Department of Finance and Personnel as part of the Government’s strategy for reforming and modernising public services.

Mr Stephen Peover, Permanent Secretary of the Department of Environment opened the event. He welcomed the opportunity to learn more about the Foundation, its approach to continuous improvement and in particular its customer focus.

Stephen Mathews, Chief Executive of The Cedar Foundation said

“Our journey towards excellence has involved the continual exchange of best practice and we remain indebted to those organisations that shared their practice with us. Participation in the Northern Ireland Best Practice Scheme provides us with the opportunity to share our best practice and to continue our development by learning from others.”
