Mark September 2004 in your diaries. That''s when The Cedar Foundation embarkes on its biggest adventure yet.
The Foundation has organised a 10 day trek to the Canadian Wilderness, truly going back to nature. You can discover the unspoilt beauty of the Chilcotin Mountains and explore the panoramic views of snow capped mountains, glacial hued lakes, tumbling rivers and stunning forests, it certainly sounds appealing.
All proceeds raised will help children and young adults with physical disabilities in Northern Ireland.
All you have to do to help in put down a £250 deposit and raise sponsorship for the trek.
Last year The Cedar Foundation went on its first trek to the ancient Inca City of Machu Picchu in Peru. Fourteen people went on the adventure and raised £20,000 for the charity. This time we are hoping to attract a much greater number to go to Canada.
Even though the Trek was only launched last month The Cedar Foundation has already received a large number of requests for the information pack, In fact, the original run of 20,000 information request postcards have been distributed and a further 30,000 needed to be printed.
