Outlook, a new programme of outreach support for young disabled people was launched today at The Lagan Look Out by Mr Robin Harris, Chair of South & East Belfast Health & Social Services Trust.
Outlook, is a partnership between The Cedar Foundation and South & East Belfast Health & Social Services Trust. The programme provides social outreach to children and young disabled people living within S&E Belfast
Mr Harris, who launched the programme said "This is another great example of how partnerships between voluntary organisations like The Cedar Foundation and Health & Social Services Trusts can deliver quality services to benefit the community."
Dr Victor Patterson, Chairman of The Cedar Foundation said " The Outlook Programme shows The Cedar Foundation''s continuing commitment to providing quality services to meet the needs of children and young disabled people.
Ray Glass, explained how the programme benefits young disabled people "Outlook helps young people like myself to go to clubs and scouts. It helps us to be able to access activities locally".
The proceedings ended with some of the young people involved in the programme launching balloons.
The Cedar Foundation works in partnership with people with physical disabilities throughout Northern Ireland promoting choice and providing opportunities to ensure inclusion.
