Twisel Lodge provides residential care for up to eight people who have Learning Disabilities and associated conditions aged between 18 and 65 years on the first day they move in.
The home has seven single occupancy bedrooms offering you a permanent and serviced home. The eighth bedroom has been designated to provide short-term accommodation if you have complex care needs.
Like The Sound Of Twisel? Here's How The Application And Admission Process Works.
Referrals for long and short service provision at Twisel Lodge are received through Health and Social Services Care Management. The provision of short term accommodation is allocated through the South Eastern Trust.
Your application form is forwarded to the referral agent for completion and requests comprehensive information about your physical, psychological, social and emotional needs.
Upon receipt of your completed application form, the Cedar Foundation admission panel determines the suitability of the facility for you. Discussion will take place between you or your representative, The Cedar Foundation and Care Management.
If your application for Twisel Lodge is successful you'll be invited to visit the home together with your family or representative.
When there is no immediate vacancy, we'll place you on a waiting list and let you know when a place becomes available.
