Social and Community Networking

Our social networking programmes aim to help you connect with others, make and maintain friendships and explore the opportunities available in your local communityMany disabled people can become socially isolated because of a lack of opportunity for emotional, social and peer support. To address this Cedar has been piloting the development of Social Networking to promote peer support and participation in heightening the community engagement of disabled people.

Our social networking programmes in the South Eastern and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust areas aim to help you connect with others, make and maintain friendships and explore the opportunities available in your local community. We provide support for each network but aim also to support you and all participants to move towards independent management of your networks.
